National Weather Service Saint Louis Missouri

"This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois."

Programming notes: NWS Saint Louis does not use any forecast intro, except during severe weather when an abbreviated forecast is played and the abbreviated forecast does still have an intro. The typical abbreviated intro will list three cities or towns in the transmitter coverage area; for example for KDO89 it is Saint Louis, Saint Charles and Belleville. Multiple hourly weather roundup formats are used. KXI49, KXI79 (off air long-term) and WWG49 air an abbreviated roundup with several conditions "across the region". St. Louis metro stations (KDO89, KXI42, KXI70, WNG728) air primary observations from St. Louis-Lambert though WNG728 does also provide detailed conditions for Columbia at the start, but the "once again" only lists Lambert Field. The remaining stations air two primary observation sites and include both on the "once again" segment.

Another identifying item for most NWS Saint Louis NWR stations is in the detailed weather observation, which follows this format: "the dewpoint was ____,giving us a relative humidity of _____."
