KIH50 provides the latest forecasts and warning information. Weather forecast information is broadcast 24 hours a day, with regional observations updated hourly. Local and area climate information can usually be heard from 5:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
The Mississippi River stage and five day forecast for selected locations along the river are normally available between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily. Information concerning hazardous weather conditions will always replace routine programming, and will be broadcast as conditions warrant. A test of the NOAA Weather Radio Warning Alarm device is normally conducted each Wednesday between 11 a.m. and noon, unless there is a risk of hazardous weather.
