Goodland, KS Office (WWF-87 Burlington, CO & WXK-96 Colby/Goodland, KS):
* Both Craig and Donna are used. Craig handles the forecasts, hazardous
weather outlooks, short term forecasts and watches and warnings, with Donna
handling the synopsis and hourly weather roundup.
* Paul handles station ID. WXK-96 is identified as broadcasting from Gem,
KS.
* Overall, other than having more of Donna, the stations had the feel and
intonation of the Topeka NWR's.

Severe Weather Information on WXK-96:
I was in Oakley, KS yesterday when (as you may know) tornado warnings were
issued for the Goodland area (also served by this NWR). Goodland suspends
all normal programming and just broadcasts the watch/warning information
when warnings go into effect. They run a station ID (done by Paul) that
gives call sign, station location, and a short statement explaining
suspension of normal programming during the "emergency" cycles.
The watch statement was the standard fare, except that it ran a statement
indicating that the counties in the watch in the Gem service area were, then
ran the watch counties.
The warnings had text that was just like Topeka's (Craig's intonation was
EXACT!).
Normal programming was resumed when the warnings expired.
